Love the hawk with rodent pic, Jolly! Was just outside giving Winkipop a bath and noticed out of the corner of my eye that my resident Osprey had returned. He loves this perch to dry his feathers after a day of fishing.

Love the airplane graveyard pics too, Bugs...way cool.....

Thanks Baz,
That is a local aircraft salvage yard we have in Sacramento. Nice guy who owns it. It’s cool to poke around with a flashlight and find that one item you need.

It’s the same salvage yard Mythbusters got their stuff from for the shows.

Saw this on the road, same year as my dad’s except I was able to reregister period correct plates. Looks more legit

If there are any Disney fans on the Forum and you would like your noggin filled with true Walt history, then I recommend the “Walt Disney Family Museum” located in S.F. At the Presidio. Not affiliated with the Disneyland/DisneyWorld Corp, but the family. They also offered an additional exhibit on the “Nine Old Men”, the nine original animators with the films.

Not a museum to hold small kids attention but a great wealth of facts on how he got his start dating back to his great grand parents. From his childhood, war, several failed starts and crooks. If you like reading and watching/listening good exhibits, plan on a lot of time. We arrived a couple of hours after they opened and we felt like we rushed to get through by the time of closing at 6:00PM.

Limited on areas pictures could be taken and no flash is allowed, so odd colored pictures are a direct result.

Worked on the Evil Genius ADS-B project

Heat Sink installed

Complete

Optional external GPS antenna if I feel the internal GPS isn’t adequate.

Now just need my battery and a plane in annual and I’ll be set to try it out.

Update FAIL:
Guess the firmware for the Stratux doesn’t support the new Pi 3 B+ board....

Not ours but it gives me ideas especially after hefting a 14’ and 16.5’ boat onto the roof of a CRV.

I like that approach too

At 78 lbs my old 15' Coleman a beast for single person loading, I can still get it on top of my truck... it's not getting any easier.
My 15' Pygmy Kayak is only 39 lbs, it's certainly easier but still a bit of a pain to get up and on the racks smoothly.
