That’s a *****en old cemetery in Queens, yes? I used to stay at the Box Hotel when visiting my daughter in Brooklyn. One day I went for an epic walk in Queens and that reminds me of the entrance.

This was my destination that day:

This little receiver I got through Amazon is amazing....I love it!

I wanted to set up an outdoor stereo system that I could use with my MP3 files. I keep them all on a hard drive in my PC and then have a dozen or so portable rechargeable MP3 players which I typically use with portable speakers or headphones. Well, I finally decided for my home to have something more permanent and easier to use. So I attached two outdoor speakers to the front of my house and am using this receiver to power everything. It's 110v which is not a problem because I have it sitting right outside my front door where there's an outside outlet.

I already hooked up one of my MP3 players though the Aux jack in front which worked fine. But tonight I decided to use a flash drive through the USB port and it was much simpler. No cables...just stick the flash drive in...turn on the power...and Bob's your uncle!

Cost was only $76.10 plus tax (Prime so no shipping cost) so that's not bad at all. I haven't used all the bells and whistles yet, but will play with it more when time allows.

I got the bluetooth but they also have a wifi model for a few dollars more. I don't use either so this one works for me.

These are the speakers I got - also from Amazon - and they were under $100 and sound fantastic.

Wow, scary. Look at how far the drivers head is above the roll hoop. How times have changed.

Saab 99 Turbo - 1978 project

I saw it today, best looking car I've ever seen that's been stored outside for the past eight years in Michigan.

I suspect that in 1978 they were still trying to get the galvanizing thickness right, and his car got a bit too much. Oh, and he used a bunch of POR-15 on in years and years ago - it's probably that. Still, there is rust, and rust is ugly and it is relentless.

The old Pirelli's didn't even look that dry rotted to me.

Almost ready for the 24 Hours of LeMons.;)
