Sparky lived in Thousand Oaks and I played a number of games when he was there.
BTW, Norm Cash was a favorite baseball player of mine growing up...the 1968 World Series was probably the first real interest I had in professional sports. Norm!

And who could forget Lolich winning three games!! Has that ever been done by another pitcher?? Bob Gibson was supposed to handily beat the Tigers....nope.
