Steve, Thanks. I don't remember what kind of plane that was. It was beautiful! On display in the paddock at the Sebring historic races.

^ That last pic makes me want to ask: Let's say you have a vintage model kit. Do you put it together and enjoy it? Or do you leave it in the box? Say you consider yourself average as far as painting and assembling is concerned.

Lockheed Electra, same as Amelia Earnhardt's ride she disappeared in.

Steve, those were at my brothers house and he set them there to scare his grand kids I think he said he found them at Big Lots or Ollies or something like that. They're hilarious.

^That's pretty awesome!^
Home made?

Got out for an easy 5 miler meander along the mighty Snohomish and associated sloughs just south of Everett yesterday.
50 degrees and a clear calm day turned it into a gorgeous Raptors, River and mountain viewing outing.

Rainer way south

Pair of Bald Eagles nesting, momma was in the nest and chirping at pops to ether order out, or go get something

Big Golden Eagle, only about half the population of Bald Eagles, pretty rare to see

Different angle

Whitehorse and Three Fingers in resplendent white

Mt. Pilchuck, only 5300' but closer than the rest

Long term parking

As we were completing our loop from Langus Riverfront park around Spencer Island and back we were treated to a 2nd Golden, this one a bit smaller

Back to upper 40's and drizzle today, glad we went!

You live in a really horrible place. I don't know how you stand it.

In the top shot of Ranier, the couple of little clouds look kind of like lenticular clouds.

Beaver pond near my house. I paced off the length of the dam, about 180 feet.

Was that directed to me? LOL! I built the kit, and there are no collector model kits, either you build em or procrastinate. My bro is a big shot at a trucking school, he purchased that kit for me for a b-day gift, it was modeled in white.
