![]() Mom and pop come back to the same spot every year and build a nest in exact same spot next to the sidewalk of a parking lot for our church’s thrift shop and food bank. Few weeks later…

I'm surprised nobody has asked why an unmounted random nasty whitewall tire is in this guy's trunk.
I'm not sure I want to know, but try me. Please.

I wanted to ask the same question but figured that I was the odd duck to think such a question. ![]() ![]() ![]() I jumped like a little girl when thinking this big bass-turd was dead and picked it up. To my chagrin, I jumped when it got all pissy and started making this weird, grunting squeaky sound.

While kayaking in Misty Fjords, Alaska last month, we came across these merganser ducks.

This is a scale model of one of the 25 'Big Boy' locomotives built in the 1940s by The American Locomotive Co. They had over 6,000 HP, weighed over 600 tons, and could reach speeds of 70MPH. They were used mainly in the western US to haul freight up & over the mountain ranges.
The locomotive part of this model is about 3' long.

Lake Chelan
Spent a few days in Stehekin on Lake Chelan last month. The trout fishing from shore was very good. Also did some hiking and biking. Hard to get to but worth it. DP
