He keeps telling me to USE the dump truck. No way, it is perfect. The Farmall will get the Mona Lisa treatment:) |
Laying on the couch, I look at our ceiling and notice the unique shadow design our antique Tiffany lamp cast on the roof.

So, I do business with this Mill all the time...just bought 50 16x6x1 oak fence boards to repair aging fence sections from the Mennonite/Amish.
The place is amazing: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1690914869.jpg I went at lunch time and got to watch this guy, who I know and got permission from to post this photo, work this machine like you read about. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1690914944.jpg |
16x6x1 OAK!
Mind if I ask how much that cost? |

I have paid a lot less in hurricane years. I can’t imagine the West Coast price. |

On the way to work a few weeks back, I was stuck for 2.5 hours in between 2 exits on I-10 so I got to watch the sunrise. 2 semi's got in an accident with at least one laying on its side and on fire. Total commute ~3:50 (left home at 4:50 and got to work ~8:40)
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1691945090.JPG summer sunrise http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1691945090.JPG Second cave of Natural Caverns near San Antonio. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1691945090.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1691945090.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1691945090.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1691945090.jpg There are 2 caves open to the public for tour. One had an exposed opening and had a bat colony. The second was discovered because the family that owned the property performed exploratory drilling in the late 60s. On one of the test holes, they hit a void. The drilled the hole bigger (exploratory drillings were 6") up to 22" where they then used a winch to lower folks down the hole to see what was there. Because the cavern had been essentially "sealed shut" there were/are "soda straw" stalactites up to 6' long. The grandsons loved it. |
Small part of an impressive private car collection I went to see recently. That 1955 D-Type Jag is the genuine article, not a tribute or continuation.
