Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

LA to Zion, Bryce, Escalante Petrified forest, Kodachrome basin and Las Vegas in a rented Tesla 3- first time driving an electric... jumped in with both feet.
1161 miles, had to stop 3 times to charge from LA to Zion, had some odd electrical-sensor bugs crop up a couple times- ended up navigating via cell phone twice. Knowing what I do now, I would have rented a gas or hybrid. It was mostly good, until it was not. No smoke or fire but the display screen decided it didn't want to connect correctly, showed us going zero miles an hour when we were going 80. Luckily it still drove fine but I'm not a fan for distance travel particularly off the main roads... where I prefer to be. Zion ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bryce adjacent ![]() Bryce ![]() ![]()
