http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads26/IMG_15241734931962.JPG Morley? Not sure, the Morley's I've seen are gorgeous but not quite that elaborate. I get a huge kick out of using my Pygmy Golden Eye 15'er, scratching it up, refinishing and gathering/earning more scratches. Kayaking is more satisfying that I anticipated, I never did more that float in a kayak until I was in my 50's. I did go canoeing with my big brother quite a bit in his 17' Hawthorn fiberglass lake boat, we took it in local rivers and over stressed it a few time in shallow water passages on the Skykomish, Stillaguamish and Snoqualmie rivers. He and I even took it camping on lake Wenatchee early one spring, woke up with ice from condensation frozen on the inside of the tent... I was 16 and fortunate to have a big brother that liked getting outside as often as possible. My boat is such a pleasure to paddle, all I've done with it is lakes so far, I do want to get out on a protected saltwater bays and hit some of the lower Snohomish sloughs using tide changes to my advantage and try not to get it stuck in some of the endless low tide mudflats. So many places to explore!

Sunny day get-away January 6th. Back up toward Mt. Baker, Lake Shannon and Baker Lake with my buddy Steve. I can't help myself, I'm addicted to the North Cascades.

This picture is of Mallows Bay across from MCAS Quantico, from 1989...sunken ships: I took the picture on the down wind leg when I was in the pattern at Quantico.

Mating season for Anna's hummingbirds, The male in the foreground is smitten, he follows her around and will crouch down making puppy eye's at her and show off his neck feathers. She wouldn't even look at him most of the time... classic mating scenario First time I've seen a Cormorant this far inland, no idea why this mosquito breeding pond looked like a good spot to hang out. Even the Mallards were confused Thanks! I like it a lot, I've put hundreds of happy miles bicycling both North and South Then there was that time my hand almost got away from me Took a ride around my local airport, Three Fingers mountain was looking beautiful with it's fresh pile of snow, happy to say I've been to the South summit and in the old fire lookout. Not an easy approach in early spring, ice axe and crampons mandatory, some serious exposure in several spots
