Was having a flat repaired on the Turbo, and since I hate sitting around waiting, I walked down the street to a saloon. On the way back, I spotted this on the sidewalk, so I grabbed it.

Being that Home Deport has a lifetime warranty on their tools, I took it to a local one and sure enough, exchanged it for a brand new one.

I'd love to be in a kayak that I assume is smaller and takes less effort than a decently big canoe.

There's a "painted churches" tour that you can take here that tours around something like 10 little churches. They are very similar to what you show there.

Those pedals should have been called "shin wreckers". Holy moly, those things were brutal if your foot slipped off.

Kinda what I thought too. Tracks led from the beach (8 step concrete staircase) on my account, up a short walkway, and into the backyard next door. They just finished adding this sand between the new seawall and the house, which lost it's back wall and then some in the hurricanes 2 years ago.

Wouldn't think it'd be a dog or cat...or possum or armadillo...or rabbit or turtle. What's left?

EDIT: I'm guessing it's from a cat.......

Cat or dog would be my guess.

Racoons paws have long "fingers". The fronts almost look like little hands.

To me, dog and cat tracks are very similar, a central pad with 4 toe pads. I think the main way to differentiate is that dogs have "nails" that are always out, so you may see nail prints in front of the toes. Cats have, for the most part, retractable claws, so you'll just see the central pad and 4 toe pads. There may also be differences in the size, shape, and spacing of the pads, but I'm not likely to know that unless it's obvious based on size and what lives in the area.

These little cordless compressor works pretty well., I aired 3 flats and still had a charge, 2 were MLs.

Thanks - my guess would be cat over dog because most dogs are with a human (or humans) whereas cats go on walkabout by themselves routinely. And I don't see any human footprints here!

I spend a lot of time in Pensacola, and see a lot of skunks under the walk ways. I only see them at night.

OK thanks, Jack! I don't think I've ever seen one in this area, but am sure we have them. Maybe I'll set up one of my trail cameras and see what we're dealing with here!

Check these little guys out on my older brother in Virginia's back deck:
