Byron, it's been a while, the trip to St Augustine was Sept 2011.

We also did a tour of south Florida in 2018 visiting a SIL and BIL. I can't seem to go to just one destination so we drove down the West side to the Keys and back up the East side.

First time I'd been in the Keys. We had tickets to go out to the Dry Tortugas, weather turned on us so we cancelled and got dumped on in Key West.
After the downpours stopped we walked around town, at one point in the distance there was some revelry happening on the opposite side of the street and I though wow those are some boisterous ladies!
As we got closer I realized um... those are not ladies. We decided not to cross the road :-)
Y'all have some beautiful beaches and seashells!

Another first for me was a manual transmission outhouse, I drive a manual often, try as I might I could not get this one into gear- the linkage is probably broken





This was being ridden by an elderly gent who said he was a minister, he had 3 or 4 younger attractive gals hanging out with him, a religion that I should have asked more about.

Cold here last several days, down in the 20's at night. Cold enough to freeze the mosquito breeding pond in front of the development





The lightest of the bunch made two passes over the ice, I watched and know the pond is only a couple feet deep so if he broke through he would have soaked his feet and legs and maybe learned a little lesson in the process.

I took about an hour long walk around the area and when I came back by a local sheriff had just pulled over to have a chat with them.
Protecting and serving as it should be.




Decided to get rid of a crappy old storage unit that we moved in with and haved used for 30 plus years.I'm always happy when I can dig around it my lumber and hard ware supplies and find everything I need for a project.
