Let's see.....

The scooter picture was taken in Basel; the ivy-covered wall also in Basel, the "steamship" was taken on Lake Lucerne, as was the interior of the ship.

Nice.............

Hmm, I don't know why it isn't--I get that problem on here from time to time. The station pic is identical in size to the scooter.

beautiful, man

widgeon13 02-10-2007 03:24 AM

watched a program on the weather channel (last night) on potential for eruption of Mt Rainier and how it would be more deadly than Mt St Helens. They focused on a town by the name of Orting and how it would be right in the path of mud flows. (lahars)

they make it sound like it is imminent, scare tactics, sure is beautiful there.

Life has many risks, can't hide from all of them.

Sounds like that show "It could happen tomorrow." Most of these scenarios are unlikely at best, but very possible. The fact in the matter is that practically every liveable environment on Earth has the risk of some kind of natural mahem, from Tornadoes in the dustbowl to Hurricaines in the southeast to Earthquakes in CA to deadly snakes and spiders in Australia.

My best bud and I from Junior and Senior High School today in Knoxville, TN. He and I went to school in Oak Ridge, TN, about 20 miles away. I've stayed in touch with him off and on for over 40 years and we've seen each other probably 1/2 dozen times since then. We went driving the Smokey Mountains for four hours and talked, and it was like we just picked up the conversation that we left off years ago. I'm the one with the hat. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1171252383.jpg
