Winter showed up Christmas evening, by noon on the 26th we had 8" of snow. Looks like it's staying at least a week.
Temps dropped like a rock as cold air flowed in from the frozen North late yesterday, woke up this morning to 4 degrees, very rare for the Puget Sound lowlands, par for the course up in the Cascades this time of year.

 Last night's rain total, last measurable rain for 2021 around here. We got all of 6.25" all this calendar year.
