Bro, the libs still own the media. Don't worry your pretty little head. ABC,cBS,NBC,CNN,PBS,NPR,AP,NYSlimes,LAslimes,Washi ngtonCompost...The only reason the right owns radio is because the liberal message only stands up if it doesn't have to take callers or be held to debate.

You libs still own the widest audience by far. It is miraculous that Republicans ever get elected.

Speaking of Fahrenheit 9/11...Funny how Moore got a media-blowjob for weeks with his movie, Richard Clarke got blown by 60 minutes, Clinton got hours and hours of coverage, Joe "backstabber" Wilson got massive coverage....But when a conservative writes a book or makes a movie, it gets put back in the food section of the paper (figurative), little air time on T.V. and back-shelf treatment at most book stores.

Yeah, though I'm guessing you would prefer Gary Coleman to "the Idiot"

After debating the question for quite some time, I came to the conclusion that Gary Coleman has issues....

You ever wonder why Bush gaffes get front-page treatment, yet we seldom hear about Democrat gaffes?...From Ford, to Qayle, Bush...It is not because Democrats are more intelligent, it is because pettiness and falsehoods are all the RATS have.

Bush spanked Gore in the debates and continues to spank Democrats at every turn, including 02 midterms and 04 landslide.

I wouldn't mind a truth-telling, honorable Democrat. But they tend conservative and have no place in Democrat leadership. They are quickly back-shelved and defunded.

LOL. . .okay, then

btw, way back in the dem primary, my (early posted) guess was on Kerry to make it to the run.

But really, there is no way anyone can, with a clear conscience, vote FOR Kerry. I can see voting against Bush. . .for those all squirmy inside over this "war" concept.

McCainiac lost in the primaries for a reason. He is what we hard-cores call a RINO (Republican in name only). There is good reason the liberal establishment loves him and gives him all the airtime his little heart desires...Because he is liberal on many issues. This guy attacked the first amendment with that sham called CFR (incumbent protection act). Of course it has turned out to be total nonsense and liberals are slithering through every loophole they can find.

That said, McCain endorsed Bush.

Either you missed this post or you are trying to avoid it. What's wrong--don't you think Bush will win?

Another example of Mul the fearful.

If you don't like that option, how about the loser reveals their true identity. I'm sure the list is dying to know who both of us really are. I'm confident Mul is a long-time list member hiding behind his make-believe identity.

Just how brave are you Mul--not up for this challenge either?

Bush wins, I reveal. Kerry wins, you reveal. No bull****, no Chicken**** excuses.

Pretty close to what the national polls are showing.

I think 2 things indicators are most useful in predicting:

1) the economy is No. 1. Or, more accurately, the public's view of the economy.

2) the approval rating numbers.

It seems to me that most people believe the economy is improving. I think that this factor is a positive for Bush. I don't think there will be a lot of change in this factor and it will remain a moderate postive for Bush in November.

For the second factor, his approval ratings are low. This of course is related largely to Iraq. This factor can change dramatically by November. Iraqi elections, the ability to secure the country more, the WMD issues, Saddam, OBL, etc. are all up in the air. My guess is that on the whole, these are not going to get a lot better for Bush and will remain a large negative.

Of course, certain events can dramatically change that. Capturing OBL would help him. Ironically, the terrorist groups that seek to oust him can almost ensure his re-election by striking in the US before the election.

The incumbent has a huge advantage, but Bush has some major vulnerabilities. The Dems could have had a much better shot at this election if they selected a more moderate, likeable candidate without all of the baggage Kerry lugs around. I guess the Dem's addiction to Northeastern liberals is a tough one to break! Even after seeing how well a more "moderate" Southerner can do (i.e. Bill Clinton) in an election.
Damn, Brian that is some of the best analysis I've read so far. You ought to be on the Sunday morning talk shows.

I agree, people will vote with their wallet and the economy is trending upward. The Dems big problem is Kerry. He really can't help himself because of who he is. It started back when he blasted that secret service agent for tripping him (he fell six more times that day I read). There really is two Americas - the one Kerry lives in with his high dollar wife and six mansions, and the one the rest of us live in.

It's ironic because W really is a son of privilege, but Kerry took that vulnerability away by having married money - Republican money at that! I also agree that the Dems could have had an easy time of it, but they are dominated by their left. Now they're in a dog fight and their dog is a poodle.

SoCal911SC: "It seems to me that most people believe the economy is improving."

The media tells us that, but I'm still not seeing it. At least in California. And nationwide, car sales for June were the worst they've been in 6 years. So if consumer confidence is up -- like the media tell me, where is the evidence?

It's certainly not in our key 'leading indicator' the stock market.

Agreed. There is some evidence the Islamic fundamentalists want to keep Bush in power, since his actions have been such a powerful recruiting tool. That's a key reason I think he'll be re-elected.
