Just watched last Friday's again. So what was the tear in the hull that Tyrol found? Are we going to hear some comment next week along the lines of "good thing we didn't jump as we'd have ripped an engine pod off...."

A Cylon saved all the humans, that tear was ugly.

Just finished listening to the podcast for Episode 416 (Blood on the scales). Ron D. Moore reveleaed two significant events which will lead up to the end of the series:

1. Anders getting wounded.
2. The gaping cracks on the Galactica Hull which Tyrol found.

No, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone died by the time we get to the end either. I'm guessing there will be a lot more firing squads too - IMHO Gaeta and Zarek shouldn't have been the only ones to get it - lots of collaborators to get.

First, that was a kick @$$ episode. The pieces are really starting to fall together nicely.

Did anyone else notice a blaring inconsistency (intentional, I'm sure) that was brought to the forefront last episode? The 13th tribe went to earth...cylons came back... Resurrection has been developed and lost many times. Starbuck came back. Baltar survived a nuclear blast. It's been at the back of my mind for some time, but I think Z-man was right to postpone our bet.

Cavell is the mastermind of the whole thing. His hand is behind every strange thing that happened in the past (except for Starbuck's apparent resurrection). I wonder if he let Bulldog go too?

The Centurions found God on their own. That's new. That hasn't happened before.

As for "humans are a violent, self-destructive species", it appears that Cylons were made in the image of their creators.

I've got to wonder, what new ground could the show Caprica possibly cover that doesn't conflict with BSG?

I like the thinly-veiled Biblical references too - Ellen=Eve eating the apple and in conflict about her "sin" in creating a flawed race? 12 colonies = 12 tribes of Israel? Rosilyn = Moses (talks to God, unable to enter the promised land, etc.) Lots of good writing on this show.
