If I could build a generator that ran on the electrons from spam/junk mail I'd never pay for power again......

Threads like these are what brought PPOT to the pinnacle of intellectual comedy where it remains today.

That was a joke, btw. Sorta.

I don't remember this one, but it is classic. I went to WWW.BIZARREFUN.COM - SINCE 1998 and the story is still up. The funniest thing about this is the number of people here who took it seriously. Did they expect science from bizarrefun.com?

Never saw this thread as it pre-dates my join date by one year.

Apparently the gererator was a hoax. However! Any of you who were alive in the 1960's WILL recall the wonderful FISH carburetor that allows you to get 100+ MPG on any gasoline engine.

I have several containers of them left and have discounted them just for you Pelicans.

Email me your credit card info and address. Normally $19.95 each but through July 25, you can get TWO for just $19.95 (with a small additional amount for shipping and handling).

I remember a guy in my high school that was convinced those carburetors were real. He had the typical "my uncles best friend's nephew has one and it works!"

I tried to explain that it defied the laws of thermodynamics. It was like trying to tell someone bigfoot, unicorns and extraterrestrials are not real either.

Years ago an ex co-worker paid $50 for plans to convert his daily driver pick up to run on water.
We never saw that pick up again.

When asked, he insisted that it works but he was still fine-tuning it.

Wow--blast from the past. Now only if the B.A.W. thread could be found and resurrected.
