Final thoughts:

Put it on an "independent" chassis dyno and spank it through all the gears making sure to bump 8500 in each one with full telemetry.
Of course the chassis dyno won't make adjustments for drag (body Cd) so the 165 mph claim might go unwarranted but it will sure guarantee that nobody cheats on the 8500 rpm upshifts.

Then, I want the oil dumped and a sample sent to "Blackstone" for analysis so there is some idea of when it may grenade in the future.

I'll bet that the analysis will come back with some high numbers.

That way the potential buyer will also know "the condition" of the engine.

I even have a Blackstone Labs container in which somebody can obtain the oil sample. ( We need "Independent" witnesses to the view the oil sample to validate that it came out of the car in question) No magic acts.

Don't change the oil before the test either. I'd like about 2,500 miles on it. If you do, I want a before and after sample

If the dyno is out of the question I would still like an oil analysis. Anybody here willing to go in on an oil change afterwards?

I like the dyno idea better, since I know I won't be able to go to the track anyway. Easier to get the video proof.

Don't dynos have their own RPM reading equipment?

PWD72S..YOU SAY THAT I AM A LOSER?

Let review that status of ALL of these MACHO MEN.. Big talkers!

So far there is $25 on the table from the lot of you..

I have repeatedly offered to put up my $13,000 2.4 "S" engine (if it were to genade)
I have offered $100 cash to prove the 8,500 RPM claims
I have offered 5-10 hours of my time to take it to Willow Springs or the dyno.

That equals about $14 ,000 on my end and the best we have on the table from all of you guys is $25!

WOW! $25 against $14,000...

Like Arnold said.. a bunch of "GIRLY MEN" Afraid to put UP but they sure wont shut up!

PWD72S

" I am a loser?"

When you can say that you started with $800 and now look out of your window and see this EVERY day you then can call me a loser ...

Until then take your $25 SHOVE IT WHERE THE SUN DONT SHINE and then shut the ***** up!

"So far there is $25 on the table from the lot of you.."

- No it is $50. I agreed to match Paul's donation some time ago and it still stands for the dyno run. But I want to see something real - no more backing and filling from "X-ech"

And by the way, if accumulation of money is how you define being a "winner" then I feel sorry for you.*

* I have nothing against money -- it's a useful buffer and can be deployed to accomplish things. But it is not a way to achieve self-worth.

Somebody set up a paypal account for the dyno. The dumb old tach in the car can't be trusted, he said 8500, so lets see 8500.

That's step one.

I'm too far away, but I will glady donate as soon as i have a place to send the $. If only 5 or so of us pony up, the car goes to the dyno, right??
Lets do it, and now.

Right, just because you have a view doesn't mean you aren't an ass, nor does it mean you are an ass, nor does it mean you earned it, or inherited it, or stole to get it. It just means you have a nice view.

(and like to show off...yechhh)

Now, you say the car goes "well past 8500", thats a concrete statement, lets back it up boys.

TRECUP...DAVE YOUR ONLY GOING TO WATCH??

DAVE,

What is a SOLVANG STOMP RUN??

That never happened!

Ask any of these book/magazine/chart quoting experts!!

According to their books and charts and the laws of physics... That was impossible!

You, me, Tony and 50 other Porsches.... Flying threw Grimes Road and the Mojave Desert...

We were not really there! It never happened!

You know "Time Warp" or "Area 51" stuff....

woooo-weeeeeeeee-oooooo

Voice over..

You are entering the "Twilight Zone" We control all of your senses!

What you See, Hear,Smell and Feel are not real..

You only think that you see 168 MPH and 8,500RPM and 50 other Porsches.. But we are in control of reality...

woooo-weee-oooooo.....

WOW.... What a vivid dream....

How did all of these smashed bugs get all over my windsheild?...

Lateapex..

Who said that I have money?
I started with $800 and did not inheirit a dime and did not steal it...

PWD72S called me a loser...

If living the life style I have made for myself, wife (30 years)and kids
makes me a loser then I take loser!

We do donate a lot to charities and support other people but I confess I am still an ASS...

Take offering to take this car to the track or to a dyno to prove and trying to explain to these idiots what I say is true.. This clearly makes me an ASS

Here in So Cal English is a second language for many so actually being able to read is a real problem for many.....
So, if I'm reading this correctly, you've owned and driven and raced literally several hundreds of Porsches, not owned or driven or raced hundreds. I have a little trouble with semantics, too.

I guess that English degree I received didn't help much. Maybe you can.

RRPJR...WHAT YEAR PORSCHE IS THAT?

RRPJR ..

What model Porsche is that?

Here are photos of our 2003 model and the old 1992 model!

Both are german models but we have come to love the long hairs because they are mellower around people and other dogs.. I take them with me everywhere even on Film sets so they need to be very calm..

The 1992 model is a memory but the 2003 model will be there at the Track on the 15th..
