Thanks CC. I am VERY careful what I say to my son and will never pass comment about his mother in his presence. That's one of the reasons why it's very difficult to explain to him what is going on.
I'm fairly sure that she doesn't play as fair and that she tries to get him to keep secrets from me. I don't even go as far as asking him questions about what is going on, but then I don't need to. Most of the time he'll just let something slip during conversation that contradicts something that she has told me.
It really isn't fair to get him involved in her silly games.

Remember this though. At times, it may be difficult to weather at the time, but in the end, you teaching your child this very important lesson in dignity will serve him for a lifetime and lessons learned from his mother will most likely "backfire" for lack of better word. Being a strong role model is a very effective method for raising healthy children.

These situations with people like that (seems to usually be the woman for some reason )always make me sad because of who really suffers. Children are always first...before ego, before jealousy, before anger, before...ME...... ya know?

Again, I'm not trying to pry, but do have some advice. Make sure you see your son at EVERY chance. Don't miss an assigned visitation. Can you force her to stay in a certain geographical region? Keep track of every single time she fails to follow the court order, document everything. Everything. Document.

I wish your son and you the very best and hope your ex comes around to see what she has given up so she can grow up!!!
