The husband isn't "at fault" thoug, IMO. The only person responsible, and hence 'at fault' is the woman who killed herself, either on purpose or inadvertantly. Unfortunately for the husband, he likely feels complicit in this by not having been there with her (or letting her go in the first place), and he's surely in a world of emotional hurt, as the kids are. I mean, I sit here and think about this, that woman DIED for no good reason. Its really, really sad.

Yeah, there is nothing but bad associated with this one. The only thing I will have a problem with in this situation is the almost inevitable lawsuit that is coming. I understand why this happens and I would be the first one to sue if I thought my loved one had died as the result of police action or inaction. In this case I just don't see it. Tragedy, nothing but tragedy for all associated. I wish they'd just walk away from it. I could not agree more, its just terribly sad.
