valerie plame wilson was in no way covert. a double agent named aldrich ames destroyed her career, and probably that of a dozen others back in the early 90s. they assigned her to a desk after discovering the leak.

this "operations officer" stuff is bullcrap.

and ilove it when tolerant sensitive caring evolved liberal nancy boys attack ann coulter's looks. doyou want me to start into some chelsea clinton stuff i've been with holding?

To answer the original question: No I won't be going.

Let's see, I could go to a Jethro Tull or Neil Young concert, the track, have a good dinner with friends, QT with the wife or pets, garden, read, listen to music or literally dozens of other nice things.

I could even do some household chores, work on the car or go the dentist.

But going to hear someone like Valerie Plame speak is something I would reserve for the deluded and hateful clods who can't seem to think of or do anything but play low level politics and bash those who disagree with them. What Lenin called the "useful idiots".

I have sat with her at Dulles baggage claim a few times recently...she has aged fairly well in that, New England, preppy manner. Very nice to talk to. I also see how she could intimidate some men, political affiliations aside.
