Liebherr really pushes the capability of their equipment in these viewer events. This reminded me of the excavator climbing the tower video. Very impressive. If you've ever worked around yellow iron, you'll appreciate what a competent operator is cable of.
I recently watched a good-sized Liebherr tracked crane erect itself, then

erect a much, much larger Liebherr crane

that removed the Potain tower crane from a building

after the structure was finished.

Nonstop fleet of flatbed trailers coming and going.

Fascinating.

1939 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic
WW2 Porsche Volkswagen Kubelwagen Type 823 Dummy Tank

- Year : 1940
The Panzerattrape , a peculiar variant of the Type 82 Kubelwagen . The function of this car was to deceive the enemy. A simple visual Kubelwagen was suddenly a ferocious tank . The flanks were simple metallic structures that could be fixedly put on the body. Without flanks could serve as the vehicle reconnaissance vehicle.

I first thought this was some sort of amphibious model, guess not.

Glow with the Flow
Glow with the Flow | NASA

Quote:
Researchers at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va., use all sorts of tools and techniques to learn more during the development of aircraft and spacecraft designs.

In this photo, engineers led by researcher Greg Gatlin have sprayed fluorescent oil on a 5.8 percent scale model of a futuristic hybrid wing body during tests in the14 by-22-Foot Subsonic Wind Tunnel.

The oil helps researchers "see" the flow patterns when air passes over and around the model. Those patterns are important in determining crucial aircraft characteristics such as lift and drag.
