Lol
![]() ![]() Random - near my office is a huge auto auction, and parts are plentiful here as a result. I guess this poor guy drove all the way from LA planning to replace his hood, but he forgot his tools.,,

Anyone interested in a 1957 Ford Skyliner, everything works and other than the dust, rust free clean car

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Pending picture coming
Sad transportation story just found out about. A 96 year old WWII Vet pilot here at our local airport spent several years restoring a clipped wing Taylorcraft. This thing is gorgeous! Guess a movie company came in, purchased it and is going to crash it for a movie. ![]() I don’t understand, why do that to a real vintage plane. I know, I know..... money talks. Of course this surfaced after they bought it. This is a file photos of the Clipwing ![]()

That's a lot of patina right there. It had a current SC tag on the back. Pretty much anything goes down in these parts. |

Love looking at the pics, though. Also, a big fan of '58 Chevrolet convertibles. |

Yup, mum n dad had one of these around the time my brother and I were found under a local rock in Visalia. Turquoise and white too. ![]() 55 Chevy two door was the only car I had ever seen my dad walk up to and look at during a car show and lose himself in thought. He wouldn’t say a single word, just a slight shake of his head and he would just walk away. They gave up the 55 for a more sensible “family” car. I know to this day, out of all the cars he has ever owned, he wishes he still had it. I had always thought it would be cool to be able to find one, then deliver it to the garage and then leave. Letting them to discover the surprise. I just haven’t been in a position to acquire one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
