OK Paul

Ya got me stumped. It looks as though it is a variable geometry wing type aircraft
(F-14 Tomcat) yet there seems to be no tailhook & the engine inlets look a bit small - with may in part be due to the angle of bank of the plane & how the photo
may have some kind of inherent distortion.

Panavia Tornado. I believe it is actually another one of those collaborative companies like Airbus.

^^^ That would explain the small engine inlets & lack of a tailhook. I was only about 10 miles off on my guess - Thanks Max & Paul

engine failed, coming in dead stick he said he tried following the rows but couldn't. This was one of three or four cropduster crashes he walked away from.
