My friend mechanic'd on one of the Tuthill Porsches for the Safari rally one year, I can ask her more about it.





Seems like a standard rally prep item: New jack receiver bore (just above the factory position) and a "mudguard" to keep muck out of it.





Front stand is supporting the bull bar:



WRC-type jack stands. I really wanted them for my own car. So handy. They carry a truck jack type unit in WRC cars that fit into the same receptacle for tyre changes (usually all 4 corners every stage without jack stands ). Porsche knew what they were doing with those jacks in 911s.

When are you gonna get me in for a tour of their workshops?? Tuthill Porsche was on my radar even before I came to the UK. Thought it could be cool to work there until this F1 thing happened. I like particularly like their rally builds.
