All this talk about the LOLphins and the Raiders... what about the Rams? They have yet to even be competitive in a game.

The Rams were holding their own against the Giants for 3 quarters.
Unfortunately football is played with 4 quarters. Their inexperience, youth and unpreparedness really shone thru by the end of the game. At least I won some money. I bet that Eli would sit down before the end of the game due to a lopsided score. He sat out on the last set of downs. The Giants didn't look like Superbowl champs, Eli was throwing some pretty weak passes. Must be tired from counting all that money.

Rams are the worst by far
I have been a Rams fam since the 80’s and I have watched every game for the last 8 years. So I have seen my fair share of losing BUT this team is a complete joke Bulger is no leader – he has no emotion. The dude has been pummeled for the last 2 weeks and nothing. He's so scared he cant even throw the ball. Yells 'hike' and runs for his life. Jackson holds out for all the money (gets it) and produces nothing!! He is seen laughing it up, on the side line every week while getting embarrassed. O line: non-existent – everyone come through and kills Bulger D line: non-existent - everyone runs free!! They have got to be the worst pass defense team in the league!! They get burned on almost every play. If Manning would have been a little more accurate, it would have been a blow out very early. Allowed 963 yards in 2 games!!!! Their net points for/against is -63!!!! 16 for 79 against The next closest is Detroit at -36 Don't get me started on how bad the coaching is. Yep – Rams are the worst no doubt about it!!!

Id have to say Chiefs = worst... Lions second... Rams third...
The Lions are really, really, really bad...maybe the worst...but the Chiefs got smoked by the Raiders of all teams, and the Raiders are in turmoil...but they smoked the Chiefs so right now the Chiefs are the worst. |

Now that the season is over, it's time to re-assess.
Who here can name a team that's worse than Detroit?

Lions... they couldn't beat the JV team at most HS.
edit: heh, didn't realize this poll is old. I'm not prophetic. |

I stand by my earlier statement: The Bears.
They played a few games well, but it seemed almost like they won by accident. Their offense was pathetic. They almost always fell apart in the second half. They could not seem to reverse narrow losses when they had the field position and time to do so.

Well, I missed with the Rams - they are the second worst team with a point +/- of -233. What a joke!!!

Check the history of the superbowl...amazingly, you'll find the raiders among the winners.

It shows to go you how surprising the dolphins turn-around has been.
they went from sucking majorly to winning the AFC east in 1 season. That's not easy to do. I don't know of anyone who saw that coming at the beginning of the season. What did they win last year, 1 game? This year they've won 11 so far. Even if they roll over in the first playoff game they play it will still be considered a success. |

I voted for the Dolphins. Clearly, there's no room in Las Vegas for my handicapping skills.

I can tell you which team is the most over-rated by a LONG shot:
THE DALLAS COWBOYS. What a total, total fraud of a team. |

Sorry, the Eagles have won 3, they just weren't called "Super bowls", they went by the plain jane name of "championship games". In fact, the Eagles are the ONLY team to have ever beaten Vince Lombardi in the playoffs (en route to winning the franchise's 3rd championship title)

You know what else is a long time ago? Since the Cowboys won a playoff game....12 years and counting. In that same span the Eagles have won 8 of them. ![]() Living on yesterday's glory is probably your best bet though, because the current cowboys "product" was no more than pure roadkill even when faced against the Eagles aged nucleus' last desperate gasp for playoff glory. 44-6 in a must win season closing game with the playoffs on the line. What a 'team'(used in the most loose terms possible) of heartless mutts the cowboys put on the field last Sunday. 44-6....disgraceful. ![]() Vikings-Eagles should be a good game. I have no idea who will win, but on paper the Eagles are a far more balanced team. Of course they're also totally inconsistent too...and the Eagles coach is prone to fits of chronic pass-on-every-down-itis. To stay on topic, i think the Lions are clearly the worst team in modern NFL history. 0-16...you should win at least one game by accident. LOL. Last edited by m21sniper; 12-30-2008 at 05:49 PM.. |
