The movave rattler is one bad hombre. The ones I've seen have a light green tint to help them blend in, and they can get big. Real big.
The last time I saw one was in Johnson valley out in the mohave desert (go figure).
We were motorcycle riding and my buddy saw the smake first. I stopped to check it out and I was about 10 feet away from the snake when it started towards me. As I backed up he kept coming after me and he was moving at a pretty good clip. I was too by that time.
I retreated about 30 feet before I decided I'd had just about enough crap from a snake and I got a big rock and bashed him several times. My buddy and I ended up eating it so I didnt kill it for no reason.
Diamondbacks and sidewinders don't bother me but a mohave green is a different story. Just plain mean.

Wow, a quick google of the mohave rattler turned up this:

The often mis-named "Mojave Green" has the most potent venom of any rattlesnake in North America. Its poison is about 16 times more powerful than that of the Sidewinder. They can be identified by their triangular-shaped head and diamond-shaped markings along their body, and of course, rattles. They are brown in color in the lower elevations and darken to a green in the higher regions near the mountains. Their eggs hatch within them so anywhere from 4 to 24 baby snakes are born live in a litter.

The Mojave rattlesnake is the most dangerous of rattlesnakes in the Mojave Desert. Its venom, which it uses to immobilized its prey and defend itself, attack both the nervous system with nuerotoxins and the bloodstream with hemotoxins. It looks similar to a diamondback rattlesnake, having diamond shapes along its back. It’s color will vary from green-gray in higher, mountain elevations, to yellowish tones found more often in the lower portions of it's range. The creosote bush, found in the 2,000 to 4,000 foot elevation is the primary, but not the only habitat of this snake. They feed primarily on small rodents. It will not come looking for trouble, nor will it run from it!

just killed one of these about a month ago on g/friends front porsch(porch).

these AINT A JOKE! they are fast, they is aggressive, and as mentioned they get damn BIG!

.22 CCI snake shot. emptied cylinder-(6). used hoe to move to open area to decapitate and bury head under rocks(dogs).

2 peoples have died here in az. this year from them.

no i didnt keep the skin. i have a pair of tony llama's kowboy boots made of green mojave rattlesnake skin i bought in el paso tejas to remind me of the mutha fuchers every single day i walk by my closet!
