I'm painting the wheel's for my Dad's car. The car is an 87 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe. The wheels are Blazer ZQ8 (performance package). The dark background is what I'm applying. It's a deep graphite metallic color. My first time using a spray gun...

First pic is taped off, then second pic right side is "before" and left side is "after"

Nice Work! You could quite possibly be the coolest chick in the world. Drives a Spyder, paints wheels...

We are very close to delivering Dad's SS (the car above). Two weeks from today... It's a surprise, he thinks I sold the car to a guy in Tennessee. Turns out I'm a big fat red-headed liar.

Here's the before and a couple of "after".

Wow..great transformation Angela! I thoroughly commend you on the transformation and also the sneaky surprise. The wheels came out fantastic, looks like the car was completely painted? I am a big fan of those SS Montecarlos, I was upset with GM that they never offered a 350 TPI motor for them and only the 305. Either way a very cool car, especially as it is the very very rare Aerocoupe. Your dad is going to be a very very happy guy...I know I would be.

Thanks for sharing - Yasin

Pretty much a tear down and throw-most-of-it-away, redo the rest of it. I can truthfully say that there is not a single part of this car that hasn't been replaced or upgraded in some way... For heaven's sake I cleaned and painted the BELLY of it - proving, once more, that I am definately a bubble off plumb. But I do love my Daddy.

Don't want to drift too far on this thread, but here's the whole thing.

The rear of our house is west-facing, and the summers were brutal. These pics aren't the best, but they are the best I have right now...The shingles are spliced in, and don't quite match, but being the rear of the house it doesn't bother me too badly.

Here is before:

Here is the awning construction during:

And here is how it is today. Still need to get the pesky gutters up. Lucky we have had a mild winter so far...
