Speaking of dashes, I replaced my old blistering cracked vinyl dash on my Mazda 323 GTX this weekend with reupholstered Alcantara and red deviated stitching.

10 hours of work and blood was shed.

At least you got to make a visual improvement so your work was rewarded.
I replaced the heater core on my pickup a few weeks ago. I spent three days on it, just taking my time, making sure every i and t is dotted and crossed.
One of those jobs that you don't know if you did it right until the whole thing is back together.

A little before & after cable management in my basement last weekend - in preparation for additional Wireless Access Points (eliminating dead zones).

Before: too many different folks working on this since we moved in, none of whom really gave a damn. And it worked so we left it and focused on more pressing issues.

After: It’s still kind of temporary as I will need to upgrade to a larger switch, and before I finish I intend to find some kind of rack for permanent mounting.

My parents bought one exactly like this - new. They still have it, but it's been repainted and lost the stripe.

Transport truck I made from an old corgi garbage truck. Too expensive to buy and they dont make one for a 1/64 car anyway. Not perfect by any means but a reasonable facsimile.
