For some more cheery picks. I picked up a 996 cab recently that needed some cosmetics but was in great shape mechanically. The first step was to clean it up. The leather was pretty nasty and this wasn't a smoker's car. The passenger's seat looked just like the driver's seat in this pic when I picked the car up.



Middle of cleaning the driver's seat. Both seats need the outer panels replaced with new leather but other than that the seats were in good shape under the mess.





Incidentally if anyone has some of this wood trim laying around I need to replace some pieces that are broken or missing. Specifically the gauge surround and some speaker surrounds.

Scary would be I knew a woman who looked exactly like that first pic with the same first name. Same time-frame (2001-2003). She was beautiful and I lightly flirted with her for a couple years, but always got the snub. Later, I ran into her in the city just when her girlfreind/roomate was kicking her out. She wanted to crash with me, but my place wasn't big enough, and I had enough on my plate. Felt bad.
Hopefully it's not the same person.

Had the knee scoped years ago after an oops at a Qualcomm AX.
That's the meniscus all tore and rolled over in the before, then part of it is missing in the after pics.
Iffn I remember right it was all Joe Bob's fault.
