One of the many Will Rogers quotes is something along the line of "It's only funny if it is happening to someone else" I just saw a great example of that. I ate lunch at a local BBQ place. They have bottles of BBQ sauce in a squeeze bottle. Some guy across the room got his food and proceeded to give the bottle a good squeeze. There was some small blockage in the tip so the sauce did not squirt where he wanted, it shot out in a circle like a water sprinkler nozzle. It sprayed down the front of his shirt, his phone and the table. From where I was it was kinda funny, but he did not see the humor.

It was not me!

I did almost choke trying not to laugh. It was a very Benny Hill slapstick moment.

No doubt it would be very NON funny if it happened to me. Of course I was in a Disney T-shirt & shorts. Not flip flops however. I drove my 911 today. One reason I went to that restaurant is the parking lot has a "special" spot that is very protected from the rest of the customers. I park my Camino in the same spot. I really don't like door dings and so far neither car has one.

I was in traffic the other day next to a fairly new Mercedes. The drivers door looked like the owner opened it into the same brick wall every day. Most of the door was just beat up. I guess to some people a car is just a big appliance that you trade in for a new one every year.

Stijn!!

G-man be careful with paint choice for your fan. About the only paint that does not chip and flake off is powder paint. Those paint chips go right to the cooling fins on the engine.

Good evening guys. Friday night in the big town!

+1 on powder coating. i dropped my triumph (pulled the spring retainers on both forks, like a donut) and the gas tank ended up hitting something on the way down. it left a tiny mark in the paint. seriously.
