We should make every weekend a 3-dayer.

I must be living right.

Out slopping waterproofing stain on my new fencing and thinking of the Tom Sawyer thing. Was planning to use a sprayer but it was just too windy. Anyway, this guy drives up, days he really needs money, works for cheap, and offers to help. I tell him all I have is $6 in cash which he could have and he could mow just my small front lawn. Went to pay him and found an extra $10 in my pocket. For the extra 10 he mowed the back yard, dug out a new flower bed, and spread the extra dirt from the flower bed out in the yard.

My son just turned down a movie date with the prettiest girl in his class (she called to ask him to see a matinee today).

Well, gotta get another set of hands to help me lift it off, but all the bolts are out to take the roof off my Rover. Maybe this summer I'll finally get around to fabricating a rough frame and having one of the boat canvas guys make a bikini top.

How old is he? That might be the only thing that saves him on this...

I'm about to fall off as well... I need to go change the oil in my corolla. That'll take like 15 mins... Then we are going to pull the top off our lift and start putting new seals in it...

Not worried. His best 3 or 4 friends in class are all girls. He came home with love notes on red construction paper a few weeks ago.

He's got a little phobia of movies he hasn't seen before. I'll see if I can get him to watch "Cars 2" in a theater next month.

I jumped off the slack wagon for a while today. We actually slept until 8:00 AM and I did not bother to take a morning shower. After slacking until 10:15 I just could not take it anymore. I went to the garage. I did some clean-up and just puttered around. I made a food run at 11:00 and after lunch I edged & mowed the yard. Then I decided to attack the A/C on the El Camino.

Back in February I replaced the compressor and accumulator but since it was only 70 degrees at the time I could not get a good charge on the refrigerant. Today it was almost 90 so I figured it was time to check the pressures. Pressures were low so I added so cool juice and now it is blowing 36 degree air at max blower. I took a 7 mile test drive and enjoyed the cold air. As I got out my glasses fogged up. YEA!

I got in the Elky feeling very HOT, and after just 7 miles I was feeling almost cold. Damn I love that vehicle.

Cars2 is already on our watch list.

The articles in AutoWeek make it sound better than the Cars. It's a must see movie.
