I hear ya on that. I'm not sure what I would do with myself once I pull the trigger!

the_webbster 11-14-2009 10:10 AM

Ok.
Sometimes from disappointment can come fortune. By taking a closer look at a car that i had on the backburner it seems like I have found a GEM!

I'll be forking out another $400 for another PPI but I have a good feeling about this one! I spoke to a 3rd person who has had a look at it without any special interest to buy it or sell it and he said it looked very clean, very nice.

yeeehaw!

Pics please, and more details.

Morning ladies... Got up early this morn and went and helped with Scouting for Food. IN about 4 hours our group of about 30 collected, sorted, and stored about 5,000lbs of canned goods for the local food bank...

ITS NAPTIME!

Geronimo '74 11-14-2009 12:28 PM

Good work, Sid!!

Enjoy your nap!

'79 US 930. 31,000miles (!!) and seems to be in great shape, with a few bolt on mods that I would have done anyways.
The car was available with both Twists and Fuchs but I told him to keep the twists. there is only one rim that belongs on a car like that!

Yep, and on a '79, that would be the Fuchs, my friend...;)
Good choice!

Nice looking car though, needs to be lowered just a bit IMO.
Great find! Hope the PPI works out.

porsche4life 11-14-2009 12:43 PM

So have you taken possession yet? That is pretty car... Congrats...

Rick V 11-14-2009 05:09 PM

You work fast

porsche4life 11-14-2009 05:27 PM

Who works fast?

the_webbster 11-15-2009 12:38 AM

good morning euros.
I haven't taken posession, no. it will be a few months before anything I buy rolls off the boat in Oslo.
and as far as working fast goes, I have made a list of cars I like and am crossing them off from the top. this car looks to have really stong potential so it's time for another PPI.

Morning, lads.

Jeff, donīt go with a US model, they are all second hand quality. Porsche sent all the crap over seas. :D:D:D

livi 11-15-2009 03:44 AM

Hey

svandamme 11-15-2009 04:01 AM

it's more like hhheeeeeyyyyy, when you drive

Rick V 11-15-2009 04:07 AM

bwahahahahaha

the_webbster 11-15-2009 08:27 AM

Well, I really wanted a Euro. lower ride height and no smog crap. I guess I can get rid of the smog crap and lower the ride height. I also am not a fan of the sunroof but the car looks really good otherwise.
so, the seller says the car is neither registered or insured so he wants the PPI done on sight. is this normal? he says he has a lift. I'm going to throw this out to the rest of the pelican flock.
