Test drove a 2011 Carrera S..... friggin rocket!!!
Then I test drove a 650ci....bleh, almost wrecked it....traction control SUCKS in that thing.....lost the arse end hitting a corner at ~45.....burned rubber way to easily and it wasn't that powerful....returned it enveloped in the stench of burnt rubber....they weren't amused...

It was a good distraction from the BS drama that has consumed my life... of course, I still can't sleep. This **** sucks... I'm really tired of it all... physically and emotionally exhausted... still wish I could bring myself to hate TEB, she deserves it...

How about the earthquake. Do you have any details on it other than the size? Was there any damage where you were?

Sorry to jump on HH's bandwagon, but the euphoria of last night turned back into how conflicted I am on relationships. There how's that for airing it out.

As for flying, no flying. I went to bed right after midnight and woke up at 3.45 and could not go back to sleep. I'm not about to step in a plane when my head is spinning. I showed up to the airport anyway and my instructor proceeded to tell me how we would go up do a couple maneuvers, do some touch and go's and then he was going to jump out and let me re-solo. What a pisser. Then to top it off, the pilot chick, who is looking very hot at 8.55 in the am get a ride to the bus from one of the other guys there... She's from Europe and does not have a car.

Ah, you have the perfect "in" with the pilot chick. OK, maybe not for today. But that's valuable information for the future. Offer to give her a lift. Or go out someplace for coffee/dinner/drinks/movie/etc. Heck, even grocery-shopping can be a minor challenge in LA if you're on foot or depending on the RTD. If she's really car-less in LA, she'll be dying to get out and around.

I bet she would love to see the Central Coast.

She declined politely, I think mostly at the time, because she had to be down there around 6pm and I was headed there in the late morning. I offered to take her in the evening as well, but when she got back to me - the second time was not in person - she said that she had lucked out and got a ride into town...

So from what part of Europe is pilot-chick?

Ask her if she ever even needs help going to the grocery store.
