Gee Noah, you seem to like playing matchmaker.

Noah930 11-05-2011 10:13 PM

Just trying to help a conflicted buddy.

Ask her if she ever even needs help going to the grocery store.

How about taking it one step further and instead of offering to take her to dinner, I stupidly gave a bunch of great names and addresses to her instead.

Noah930 11-05-2011 10:15 PM

Hmmm. I know nuthin' 'bout Hungary. Well except for the Hungaroring.

That's OK. If you're not the go-for-broke-on-the-first-shot type (i.e. asking her out to dinner/movie/event the first time you meet her), it's alright to ease into it. Be friendly, somewhat available, pleasant, non-creepy. Chicks dig non-creepy. Offering her some restaurant advice...and then following up a little time later to see if she's willing to take you up on one of those places is one way to go.

When you see her in that pilot's clubhouse place, you now have something with which to strike up a conversation. You know, beyond the "what do you think about this Greek debt crisis" ice-breaker. Ask her if she ever went to that restaurant you recommended. Go from there. Find out what she likes. Is she adventurous? What has she tried? Did you like that place, too? Hate it? Have a better option in that same genre?

Flieger 11-05-2011 10:21 PM

I'm hungry.

Noah930 11-05-2011 10:24 PM

I'm stuffed. Like I said, Oliva on Van Nuys is good for Italian. (Plug for Dave.)

slodave 11-05-2011 10:25 PM

It's a Doggy Dog Woorlllldddd!

Noah930 11-05-2011 10:26 PM

I'm planning on heading over to Pro Italia tomorrow (late) morning. Wanna come along, Dave?

slodave 11-05-2011 10:26 PM

Hey Butt-Head, you know I'm from Compton? I used to drink gin and juice.. I'm straight G..

Priceless.

slodave 11-05-2011 10:27 PM

Only if I get to ride the 900!

Noah930 11-05-2011 10:30 PM

C'mon over. It's now legal. (Just got a plate on it this Thursday.)

slodave 11-05-2011 10:31 PM

Noah930 11-05-2011 10:32 PM
