The Concours was a blast.....took ~250 pics....I'll get around to posting 'em at some point...
Test drove a 2011 Carrera S..... friggin rocket!!! Then I test drove a 650ci....bleh, almost wrecked it....traction control SUCKS in that thing.....lost the arse end hitting a corner at ~45.....burned rubber way to easily and it wasn't that powerful....returned it enveloped in the stench of burnt rubber....they weren't amused... It was a good distraction from the BS drama that has consumed my life... of course, I still can't sleep. This **** sucks... I'm really tired of it all... physically and emotionally exhausted... still wish I could bring myself to hate TEB, she deserves it... |

Dave is right. Lets not worry about beating RPT. Thats not what this thread is about. We need to respect the guys that made this thread what it is. I am not one of them, but I love it for what it is. Who really cares how many posts we have. Yes now and then for a laugh we speed post. The original guys have always welcomed newbys, like me. If there is nothing to talk about then nothing gets posted. Thats Stijn. If I am speaking out of place please say.

Ah, you have the perfect "in" with the pilot chick. OK, maybe not for today. But that's valuable information for the future. Offer to give her a lift. Or go out someplace for coffee/dinner/drinks/movie/etc. Heck, even grocery-shopping can be a minor challenge in LA if you're on foot or depending on the RTD. If she's really car-less in LA, she'll be dying to get out and around.

BTW there was a very pretty waitress at Oliva's tonight (on Van Nuys by Ventura, across the street from the Best Buy). Looked like Gwyneth Paltrow, but prettier. No ring.

She declined politely, I think mostly at the time, because she had to be down there around 6pm and I was headed there in the late morning. I offered to take her in the evening as well, but when she got back to me - the second time was not in person - she said that she had lucked out and got a ride into town...
