People sell lamps made out of crankshafts. You could probably make money that way and then sell the rest that you cannot make into furnature as scrap.

The engine is way too big to keep in the garage long term.

I just got the confirmation, the order is approved and ready for shipping. Basically everything I need for an engine swap for $1,721.55. I feel certain I will have some trips to the parts store for something but it will not be much. The old starter will sometimes not engage the Bendix properly so I will swap it out. But that is free. I bought a starter 19 years ago that has a lifetime warranty. Of course so does my alternator, water pump, brakes and most other items.

I paid 18 bucks for brake pads and in over 250,000 miles I have not spent a penny more for brakes. I wish I could get that deal for my 911.

good morning, guys.

the stout got kegged and sampled, last night. it is really good, but turned out more like a brown ale. i know just how to sort it for next time.

as for the 911 block, i don't think i could part with something like that. hell, i have a camtower and bunch of other rubbish from my NA 944 that i keep telling myself i will sell or scrap, but i never do.

Yea, a 911 case will have value unless it is warped or has a hole in it. My 305 block is worth scrap value only.

Glen, part of me wants to tell you I'd take that block to make a coffee table with... But the other part of me reminds of how little time I have....

So before you pitch it give me a shout, I may want it.....

it's no use mincing about with Lee or Lyman turret or single stage stuff.
Or cheap out with the Square B deal in handgun only, or the 550 without auto indexing... so i went straight for the Dillon XL650, auto feeder , bells and whistles...

That thing can do it all, handgun, rifle , shell feeding, there's even a bullet feeder or powder fill checker for it... for really volume loading..
Can be set up so a slot machine addict can operate it after a bottle of jim bean. Just pull the lever..

Figured i'de skip the slippery slope thing and jump head first in to the ravine to get it over with.

With an auto loader like he is shooting double loads will blow the case first. I have first hand experience with that fun. Started using rule one after that no shooting hand loads made by others.

that's what the power fill checker checks for

"Powder check die(Stock#21044) - a sensor that goes down into each case to monitor the level of powder in it. In the event of a significant error in powder charge, either high or low, it sounds an audible alarm. "
