Been run on CNG all their lives...

Day um, that is beautiful. You just lit a fire under my butt. Gonna spend a few more hours on mine this weekend.

'm 1/2 mile from Glen's

Kimray has been in negotiations with Chesapeak on making all of Kimray's trucks CNG.

vas930 12-09-2011 07:04 PM

Why thankyou fastfred. :)
Enjoy the clean.

RKDinOKC 12-09-2011 07:04 PM

Hope that's not tire dressing on those tires.

vas930 12-09-2011 07:07 PM

Only on the walls, Stick.

Passed a sign in N.C. somewhere today that said Vass this exit.
The name rang a bell.

RKDinOKC 12-09-2011 07:11 PM

That will effect your AX times unless you didn't get it anywhere near the corner of the tire where the tire rolls over on turns.

porsche4life 12-09-2011 07:13 PM

The Cng trucks run cleaner, and last longer. Not to mention that fuel costs less than half.... As the conversion price comes down, we will see more of them...

Glen really should convert the Elky. That new motor will run 600k on CNG....

None on the face ,mate.
Its just a run in the hills, not a comp.

I did some checking on a CNG conversion. It was about 7 grand!!!!

Maybe when that comes down I will convert.

RKDinOKC 12-09-2011 09:02 PM

Lets see, at $1.50 a gallon savings, an average of 20 mpg, and a initial cost of $7000. That's only 4666 gallons or 93,320 miles to break even. I usually drive around 15,000 per year so I would have to drive the car for a little over 6 years. I have never kept a car for that long.

Guy that works at Kimray bought a Prius because the distance he drives to work the difference in gas mileage between it and his pickup truck made the payment on the Prius every month.

slodave 12-09-2011 09:10 PM

I got my moms Camry hybrid to go 500 miles on a tank of gas this past week. :)

Flieger 12-09-2011 09:47 PM

Car looks great Vas! :)

svandamme 12-09-2011 10:05 PM

Bimforcr 1 can go 600 miles on a single tank easy (just not with me driving)

vas930 12-09-2011 10:12 PM

Thanks, Max.

Howdy all.
