Back from the walk, longer than I planned, the 'beach rejuvenation' has caused significantly rougher surf in some areas, it is horseshoe crab mating season, the surf is flipping then all over on their back, I spent quite a while flipping them back, turtle season is soon, I'll be out surveying their nests in the mornings, gotta get with the region director, good excuse to play with turtles and drive the landy on the beach.

I don't drink coffee but I still thought it was funny. :)

Drinking again: Sierra Nevada Hoptimum. 10.5% IPA, intended to compete with Stone Ruination. It fails in that respect, but is still an excellent beer. Nice citrus note that's much more present than in Ruination.

As background: Ruination is so named for its ruinous effect on the palate and that is no exaggeration. It is pure happy bitterness with several very overpowered subtonal tastes, including citrus and a slight pepper.

Dude, Max, you've got 90 minutes to go. Head out to a bar/student union/someplace a college chick is going to be and have at it. Where do people go for study breaks at 10:30 pm on a Sunday night? Must be someplace that offers coffee/baked goods/etc late at night.

I don't know. You are asking the wrong guy. I do not know what the average college kid does. Not even the other engineers.

Today I was just feeling lazy/tired. Wasn't really scared of interaction.

Flieger 05-06-2012 11:23 PM

Odd. I don't think I've seen maintenence being done on Pelican at this time before.

slodave 05-06-2012 11:51 PM

Flieger 05-07-2012 12:03 AM

Not that the official challenge time period really mattered to me.
