Here in the US you can take creepy pictures of roofing girls apparently.

My camera has 26x optical zoom. But the trick is finding a sniper's nest where you can brace yourself to keep the camera from shaking when you press the shutter button and blurring the shot.

built in?

I used a borrowed monopod for Rennpsort. It helped only at the corkscrew where I did not need to do a lot of panning to catch the cars.
