Coffee thirty here. Reckon I'll be the designated driver

Outback Porsche 05-16-2012 02:00 AM

Morning Rick designated driver it is, how you doing?
Must be nice heading into spring.

Rick V 05-16-2012 02:02 AM

Yeah we are heading into spring, complete with the non stop grass growing and thunderstorms all the time. Works for me. Although I must say we didn't have a winter this year and that really works for me.

Outback Porsche 05-16-2012 02:15 AM

he :)
lawn mower getting a workout then? How's the heyfever? Spring buggers me up a bit.

Rick V 05-16-2012 02:18 AM

It doesn't bother me too much but my cars are that lovely "yellow" from the pollen.

I am wearing my typical summer go to work clothes. Shorts & a t-shirt. I love the dress code here. :)

Good morning folks.

Jim Richards 05-16-2012 05:24 AM

I'm casual, too...No suit or sport coat.

GH85Carrera 05-16-2012 05:24 AM

I got this via email today:

<iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/xWMkOwq2qIU?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

It is a commercial but it is worthwhile. The epilogue is about right.

Max this is a good one about a product engineered with a slight flaw. :D

Jim Richards 05-16-2012 05:28 AM

Roflmao!

GH85Carrera 05-16-2012 05:38 AM

Yea, it is a classic of a product encountering a problem outside of design specs.

Porsche-poor 05-16-2012 06:54 AM

morning all. having breakfast then off to it.

I was in the garage last night again.

Do you think it is time to get new tires?

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1337177409.jpg

Since the new tires are here I guess I will replace this before I drive to Utah.

I will do one more autocross on these and then baby gets new shoes.

RKDinOKC 05-16-2012 07:25 AM

Sid, sounds like your new employer does not have a public autodiscover@company.com name set up to point to their exchange server. You will need the name of the exchange server to set up your email.

Also, sometimes with exchange login will only work with username as DOMAIN\userid where DOMAIN is whatever they set up for the company not specifically "company.com"

RKDinOKC 05-16-2012 09:39 AM

Looks like that tire is worn down to the "order more" bars.

Flieger 05-16-2012 10:40 AM

I'd run 'em for a few more miles. The autocross ought to do it.

One of our cats woke me up at 3:30 this morning. They often want to go outside at that time of the night/morning (we keep our kitty door closed at night to prevent unwanted critters). But it seemed like he just wanted to play...with me. Kept meowing at bedside. I turned on the faucet in my bathroom (he likes to drink from running water). I even went downstairs to make sure his food dish was full. But he kept coming back to meow and purr at me and walk around my head. Sheesh. Couldn't he tell I was trying to sleep? Do I F with him while he sleeps? OK, a little. But just a quick hello and I leave him alone afterwards.

In the meantime, I've been trying to chase down that intermittent tachometer bounce I've got going on. So I finally jury-rigged a volt meter connected to the battery terminals. There's speaker wire running out the corner of the hood and in through the driver's side window. Blue painter's tape on the window and dash. Voltmeter wedged into a corner of the dash. All set to go and give me real-time info.

Only the tach hasn't faltered in the 2 weeks since.
