Adventure day! My dad and I picked up a rental car locally and drove it a couple hundred miles South to Escondido (Near San Diego), dropped the car off and took a cab to Ramona to pick up his plane.

We've done the Home to ABQ and south run before this time of year no problems, and once they opened I40 we got a serious move on. We pulled into our drive at 11:45..

Would have been a little sooner, but I had to slow down so a THP could hassle me for a bit. The official reason was following too closely to a Semi.... Which I wasn't, but he asked a LOT of questions, I think they were a bit suspicious of the truck with AZ paper plates, moving in the middle of the night with a bed full of toolboxes...
