You are talking big tanks here.. and serious elevation requirements.
Unless people live on the side of a mountain and have ****loads of land.. i don't think that's a feasible way to store energy.. + you will loose a considerable percentage of the energy pumping up ,and converting back to electricity again That is on top of the percentage lost creating the energy to do the pumping.

You need a windmill to pump the water to the top tank. That would work even at night.

i've had people trying to talk me into selling them my homebrew, which is a federal offense. i've made beer for weddings. i've had parties with four kinds of belgian/french-farmhouse brews on tap and hard cider that i made. never a complaint. (except the gal that had two pints of 7.2% bier de mars in rapid succession, because it was so good, and was immediately drunk....) i have a few friends that homebrew and their beer is as good or better than anything one can buy. they tend to be much more particular about style guidelines than i am and their beer is always consistent and good. if your homebrew is like a fart, you are doing it wrong.

My apologies, no insult intended. I thought it was funny when he said it to me. Thought I'd share it.
I've had my fair share of compliments in regards to my homebrew. I was quite proud of it. ![]() I mostly used Coopers products Coopers - Age Confirmation. I was making alot of their Canadian Blonde Ale when I last brewed. For me, it better suited our hotter climate.

the first beer i ever made was a cooper's stout, almost exactly 17 years ago. i am not a big fan of liquid malt extract, although i sure sold a lot of it and a lot of the cooper's kits. those are pretty old skewl, these days. when i worked at the homebrew store, i did take a couple home that were expired (free!) and cooked 'em up, just to relive that first time and to keep it fresh what the customers were going to be doing. good times.

I was granted the privilege of seeing another day which I spent with my kids and grandkids so I would say yeah. We don't do much in the gift wrap dept in our family, just a warm meal and a relaxing day

Moving house really sucks...
After two weeks I finally found the coffee grinder, yay! No more instant.
