Are we thinking about pulling the trigger on the "move"?

the move is on the back burner. i am getting the paperwork and fees done to get licensing in texas and, possibly, georgia. i am also getting some projects done in the house to make it salable. then, we are going to see what the market is like to sell the house this summer. due to the area we live in, we may be able to make a small profit on the sale. also, i will look into jobs in the fort worth area and see if any of them are offering help with moving. i looked about a month ago and there are a ton of jobs in the fort worth area, salaries are much better than here, and housing is less than half what it is where i live.

right now, i may just need to get the hell out of where i am employed. i am truly sick of the administration and i respect my manager not at all.

If you were flying at that altitude you would need oxygen, no? Where the heck are you skiing anyway?

i am just tired of the crisis management at work and the fact that my manager is spineless. i've told him as much, too. now, because of their ridiculous management style, administration created a situation, that they've known about for over a year, that is going to require someone on day shift to go to nights.

frankly, not only do i not want to go back to nights, i cannot: my wife works 4 nights a week, from 1800 until 0030 (usually more like 0130). thus, there is no way we would be able to work out child care. further, i have seniority over two of the other day shift folks.

adding to the annoyance of it all, my boss has approached four different times about me going to night shift. it is like he expects that if he asks me often enough i will somehow forget that i cannot work nights. that crap alone is enough to make me want to strangle him. the last time he pulled that kind of interpersonal faux pas with me, i finally lost it on him and i ended up having to explain myself in the HR office (fortunately, they sided with me).

you can fly above 10K feet without oxygen, you just have to limit your time there. however, military pilots are required to utilize supplemental oxygen at altitudes above 5K feet. thus, when any military planes take off around here, the pilots are already wearing their oxygen masks.

You can and just don't push her into a corner where she feels like she needs to go 535 over the center field fence with your noggin and you should be good. Trust us we would never put someone in a dangerous position for our amusement, nope not us, never.

Think he is gonna buy it guys?:D
