If the police think it may be over, they send you off for testing.
My car is not loud at idle.
However, when you back off from high RPM its like a 935. :D:D

So if an officer notes that your car might be too loud, he/she takes down your tag number and then reports it to the registry or motor vehicles?

Here they just pull you over and write the ticket first, and then you need to prove your innocence in traffic court.
