the department is imploding. i know for a fact that every single therapist on the day shift is actively looking for new work and some of the night shift as well. i am not the only one that is looking/willing to work out of state. they are going to lose all of their most experienced therapists.

i am going to follow my own policy, on this one, that i never let them know everything that i know. in fact, i let them know almost nothing.

Sounds like a solid POA.....the less they know, the better.
Had a meeting inre TEB, the Catholic church and the situation.....lawyer really wants to bring this to a jury trial....thinks it would be amusing.....Conservative southern (predominantly baptist and methodist) jury......Older yankee woman with questionable past took advantage of younger southern born and bred Army vet and the catholic church gave it's stamp of approval the whole way through. Dunno, we've got a long time to file still and are holding back for tactical purposes....told him I'd make a decision on how I wanted to pursue after I had all the immediate drama in my life taken care of.

I'm gonna kill the damn gecko....

Yeah, given those circumstances, I think a jury trial could be very amusing and I suspect deliberation would be very short. That said, I'm not sure any amount of money is worth having to rehash all the drama of last year in the public of a manner...I've got a while to decide and I'm not worrying about it until I have the immediate issues resolved.

Honestly, I was going along perfectly happy until about a week ago when a few people felt the need to mention to me that TEB is drinking excessively and depressed. Since, I've made it very clear that I don't even want to hear her name unless she's hit rock bottom, realized she was wrong and is willing to apologize or if she's in the hospital with a life-threatening condition.

Those two people (very separate individuals who know her through very different venues) really threw me off with those statements last week and I haven't quite gotten back to where I need to be.....gotta suck it up and move forward, just caught me off guard...

So i have been batteling for the last 2 months, to support a setup that we run off a hosted platform, as the subcontractor of a major integrator/telecom company.

in those 2 months we have been getting nothing but performance issues, because they have setup the vmware and network as a choked setup.

So each time they call me, to say chit don't work fast
Then, within minutes, i respond, investigate, and i tell em what the problem is: eg Yer chit don't work, fix it

For instance, they had forgotten to setup internet access on the machine i connect to.
I can connect to the machine, but once i see the screen, i can't do , download, or upload anything.
Then they ask me for logs, urgently.. but i can't get them off the machine
That, took 1 month to resolve

Next, the machine itself was bogging down on the CPU
They had to raise the specs , they were told that, within 5 minutes of logging the issue,
NAY, i had proactively told them about the issue that was coming, 3 days before they noticed
That, took 3 weeks to resolve

Now, they want me to setup a second machine, which bogs down, i need to download a file.
The file is 875 MB in size, the internet connection gives me 4.5 kb/sec
ETA , 51 hours.

I told them to EFFNG FIX THE INTERNET SPEED

Now the question is, who is faster... They, or that 14k4 BAUD modem that's currently doing the download???

Heard dat.

Never a complaint about access speed where I work. Well, until after some consultant replaced my gateway router with a cisco. Then we had to bump up the bandwidth and people still complain about the speed and access is always going down. Didn't have that problem with my setup. eh, what do I know.

I like balance in the force.
And having an over sized rack on a sports car is not useful nor pretty.

This girl has an over sized, aftermarket rack
