I found this place when I was doing some service work across the street, put my house on the market on a wed, signed papers of thursday and moved in that weekend. I wish that would happen again

Okay time to involve myself in the continued ruse that if I work hard things will go my way.
Y'all have a good day

I've given up on that, my current motto is more about "if i can just work hard enough so they don't notice my slacking, they won't sack me and my paycheck keeps coming my way".

Good morning folks.

When I bought my 1st house I started the hunt with a real estate agent. Back in the olden days (1979) before the internet you pretty much had to have a real-estate agent. I found the house that was perfect for me on Thursday, November 1st. I moved in on Friday the 9th. I woke up in my new house on my birthday.

I looked over my loan papers and figured I actually owned the door knob and deadbolt. The rest of the house was mortgaged. I owed just over 5 grand on the place when I got married and moved into my wife's house. I kept it as a rent house long enough to realize I don't ever want to be a landlord again.

We sold my house and my wife's house and moved into our current house.

Rick you will find a even better house than the rock house when you sell your current place.

Any time I hear someone has cancer...

Amway vitamin supplement, Nutrilite Double XX. If cancer is active take 3 times the recommended dosage. If inactive 2 times.

Have personally seen several people go into complete remission, even with inoperable types.

Brother had prostate cancer and took it. Made arrangements for Prolotheraphy. Took XX for two months making arrangements for therapy. By the time he was examined for the therapy, they could not find any cancer.

the street triple is not your average british machine. that thing will probably run forever and not give you a lick of trouble. the new triumphs are very well sorted.

see, i thought if you shortened the ring an pinion, it would keep you in boost (effectively shortening all the gears), but then you have problems with first, because it is TOO short, so get a taller first.... should be cheaper and effective. but i know next to nothing about transmissions, so i am sure i am bolloxed in my thinking. perhaps someone would like to educate me.

Well, best deal I could get on the GT cams was $1500. GT cams are more aggressive than the stock GTS cams, but still a reliable stock porsche cam set. Replacement for the ONE broken stock GTS cam from Porsche is $1300. So, for $200 more I am getting 40 ftlb across the entire rpm range, maybe a bit more here and there with some fuel and ignition tuning.

I avoid flu season. I was sick once and I did not like it. I don't do that anymore.

Decided the GT cams were the best option for rebuilding broken cam and crashed head. Downside is they are hard to find.

My options were:

1.) Go back stock, replacement cam $1300
2.) GT cams, found a set for $1500
3.) Stage 2 cams and valve springs, $3500
4.) Custom grind cam and valve springs, $5000

The 5.0 liter 928S4 has 300hp. From 89 to 91 there was a 5 speed GT version that had 325hp. The 25hp difference comes from cams. When the 928GTS came out it had a 5.4 liter making 350hp. The cams in the GTS are very close to the S4 cams. Talking to some of the engine build gurus they claim the GT cams need stiffer valve springs, BUT all of the valve train components except cams are the same for the S4, GT, and GTS, including the valve springs. The ones that have done this are seeing over 40hp increase.

The Stage2 cams are not recommended by any of the 928 gurus and say if I am going to replace valve springs to go with a custom cam and a couple of those are saying they think the best cam option for the 5.4 liter is the GT cam. No one that has put in the stage2 cams has posted any dyno measured improvements.

Oh and I added up the parts recommended by THE biggest hp engine builder, he is recommending custom cams, valve springs, light weight valves, light weight lifters, etc is $11,000.
