I work for a oil & gas production equipment manufacturing company. The more gasoline you buy, the more they have to produce. The more they have to produce, the more production equipment they need. The more production equipment they buy, the more the company I work for makes. The more the company I work for makes the more pay raises and bonuses I get.

Drive, drive, drive!

You sound like Randy up in Tulsa. At Parade someone asked him what his gas mileage was on his Carrera GT. He said I don't know and I don't care, I own an oil company! Drive fast and freeze a Yankee!

off to go pick up the kid and play roadie. If all goes well he and the band will play to their largest crowd ever. I know Connor has no stage fright but the others I'm not sure about.

morning Gents!

well I thought I would see how you are going with the 50K, and you have all been very quiet, must be too busy working on your cars!!!! yeah right!!!

Petrol down under, we have that E10 5hit, 91 and 97, all around 1.45-1.70 per litre. So not toooo bad, but when we cam e home 2 years ago, they were just hitting the 1.00 big barrier and it took a couple of months for the first petrol stations to take the big step and cross the 100 mark. And then of course they all had to upgrade their signs and that must have been expensive because it has been going up ever since to cover the cost lol!

Azzy, if my conversions are correct for the Australian dollar to US dollar and liters to gallons, 1.7 AD per liter would be $6.82 per gallon locally. That is almost exactly twice the cost what I pay for 100% gasoline. The ethanol blended crap is even cheaper. I never buy anything but 100% gas except on road trips to states where blended crap is all that is available.

Checking, at the cigar lounge :)

Hopefully Master Stijn or Master Markus are busy working on a major post for 50K. Almost anything is better than Rick's recent milestone post.

Vroooom! Purrrrrr!

GH85Carrera 02-24-2012 01:34 PM

I was curious about the post counts in this thread. Wow Rick you have a commanding lead. Maybe we should save the 50K post for Master Rick.

HHI944 02-24-2012 01:43 PM

Im sick .......cruising craigslist looking for a triumph project bike.

RKDinOKC 02-24-2012 01:47 PM

I think you need a Triumph TR6, Morris Mini, or MG to go with the other British vehicles.

RKDinOKC 02-24-2012 01:47 PM

Not much of a post whore I am.

GH85Carrera 02-24-2012 01:49 PM

With a dozen Brittish vehicles one might have good odds that one of them will be driveable at all times.

RKDinOKC 02-24-2012 01:49 PM

For some reason these mushrooms make me salivate...
