my two boys (13 and 21) play acoustic, and so does the GF who lives with us atm. So when they all get them out the music isn't too bad, although none of them are fantastic, they have fun.

I grew up in a classical home.

Still my favorite, but I have plenty of others.

I guess some of us take for granted our internet speed, but even at that pelican has some very slow load speeds at times

weather report was just on

today is the 1st of March, and we have already had over our entire month of march average rainfall.

I am definitely googling plans for the ark! Glad we live on a hill, good launching point!

Let the phlebs in the lowlands go under, we are just going to glide over them.

Just wait, 3 months from now you will be in a drought, or at least that is the way it works here. We are under a flood warning now because of all the rain in the last 24 hours.

Nice!

I love jazz, classical, and '60's-early '70's rock. Top 40 makes me ill.

Rick, it's pretty soggy here, but I was able to walk (not swim) to work this morning.

G'night, Azza.

Good morning folks.

Azzy, don't complain about rain. Three years ago we had a very wet year. It rained all the time. The next year it rained all spring right up until July. Then it almost all stopped. We had a very dry summer and fall. The next year was the hottest ever on record, and just a whisker more rain than the worst of the dust bowl days. We are still below normal. Hopefully things will reverse soon and we can get back to normal.

If you are not flooded, don't complain about too much rain, too little rain is a lot bigger problem.

i'm going to leave it at this, there are plenty of technical threads for this kind of discussion.
Well, we got a great deal on these headers and they got rid of our old, oily, rusty heat exchangers (what was left of them) along with loosing a little bit of weight.

I would need to get SSIs, weld up the heater hole (since my flapper boxes are rusted/seized and there is no heater stuff), then get the heater duct for the fan shroud (have the block off plates now), then get the special MFI thermostat hose, then convert back from the bolt to the thermostat (which means getting the tube thing for the thermostat). So it's not that simple. I don't have the budget for that right now and I really only care about how well it runs warmed up.

I would like to do the CMA but I don't have an LM-1 or LM-2 to do the "M" (measure) so I prefer to rely on my mechanics with their extensive experience. They have it set up so that it runs well in most conditions but I could carry a socket with me and start messing with the screw if I feel surging I suppose.
