Taking a break is cool.
Its up to Dave or anyone what they do.
I was just talking about what Max said.

Morning all.

nynor 03-06-2012 12:59 PM

frankly, this about the only thread i post in. the regulars are nice and the topics are fun. plus, anything goes. i do post the occasional picture in the appropriate threads, but that is about it.

D, your posts in the Darwin thread was one of the greats.
You could not have been more clear and logical.
Its just that you were talking to a brick wall. :)

Went for a walk with the pup, then turned around and put the pup up so I could snap these pics

He was a solid 6 footer and didn't move until I was way too close....

the darwin thread was fun. as a philosophy major, i focused on philosophy of religion and metaphysics, with some ontology thrown in. oh, and ethics was another topic that i spent a lot of time on. but philosophy of religion was my favorite.

the problem i had in the DT (same cast and characters as the 'is there a god' thread) was the passive aggressive nonsense and, specifically, the blatant arrogance of the OP'er and trek. the arrogance really sets me off. i am happy to discuss/debate, but when the arrogance and mockery becomes the rule, i tend to get even. in a bad way. so.... i am just staying away. their behavior is disappointing, really: they claim to be of christ, yet an atheist is more tolerant of their views than they are of the atheist's. fairly telling, IMO.

what happened with joe bob and lubemaster?

can you hunt them?

HHI944 03-06-2012 01:45 PM

We do have a gator season, but it's not a sure thing to get the permit, they only issue x amount and I think there's a bag limit of 2 per season......you are however permitted to shoot them if they're on your back porch and acting aggressively.....ask me how I know....

Porsche-poor 03-06-2012 02:01 PM

Glad to see that you got the bullets figured out. I am lucky I got all the mess sorted out by my dad when he started. I just took over and have had not worriies. I do use a factory crimp die, collet type on the AR-15 stuff so that the bullets feed right.

nynor 03-06-2012 02:05 PM

for semi-auto work, the crimp die is necessary, or so i've read.

Porsche-poor 03-06-2012 02:07 PM

yep. it is. I don't need one for the 9mm or the 45acp the straight walls roll crimp really well. but with the ar if your not crimped then it has a nasty habit of knocking the bullet inside the case as it chambers. not good.

So did ya get to eat the one ya shot?

I am an expert on gator hunting. I have been watching the TV show "Swamp People" for two seasons. Everything anyone needs to know about gator hunting is in that show. I am expert enough to know I ain't ever going out in the swamp to hunt gators. I have eaten gator tail before. It was good.

Rick V 03-06-2012 02:27 PM

Evening guys.
Screw gators
Have D and David shoot them
And I love my CIS. I know the car can preform better but I have done a few tweeks and it pulls like a freight train all the way to 6,500rpm

vas930 03-06-2012 02:33 PM

Morning, Rick.
Me like CIS.

Rick V 03-06-2012 02:35 PM

Evening Vas. I actually prefer Multi port injection, followed by carbs, but I have had a number of CIS cars and spent many hours under the hoods of old Mercedes's so I am accustomed to CIS. It is however a sacrificed fuel system

vas930 03-06-2012 02:38 PM

It does the job, Rick.
EFI is the best.
