They are still required by law to get a right of way for any new equipment. This is not the first time I have fought this battle with that old wombat of a shriveled up old battle ax.
I contacted the town office today and voiced my concerns, the mayor called me back. We had a good conversation and he stutters a lot when you get him against the wall. I am also armed with the scientific facts that dark is more conducive to a good night of sleep. They are running the risk of me developing a lot of sleep related issues, like insanity.

That and like Stijn said, They will run out of street lights long before I run out of shotgun shells.

When I moved to my current residence there was a security light in both the front and back yards. I like the one in the front because the house is on a culdesac turn. The front is paid for by the neighborhood. The one in the back is on my electric bill. I would have shut it off, but an elderly couple that backs up to where the light is pays me for 1/2 the bill every year. The next door neighbor had me call and have her yard shaded from the light. About a month later she had the shade removed and pays the other half of the bill every year. There are two other neighbors the light shines on, it is currently shaded from reaching their yards. Kinda nice to be able to let the dog out and not have to turn on any lights, it's that orange light and is not really very bright, but bright enough to wander around in the yard without any more lights. Doesn't really light up inside my house enough to bother, but again bright enough I don't have to turn any lights on to stumble through the house.

I have 8 flood lights on the outside of my house (they were here when I bought) and from time to time I need to use them. I bought a house in the dark country for a reason. Night=Dark

should have listened to Stijn.

Oh well, I'll clear my head with bike rides and suspension design.

The whole situation was not very opportune. But I decided I had said in the Stijn thread I would attempt to talk to her so I would uphold the promise to the brotherhood. I am not surprised at the result. I need to find a hobby/activity I like doing where I can also meet women. I can come on more gently then.

I guess it doen't help that I am not really into clubs. I like doing my own thing- F everyone else. I need to get some knobbies and find a MTB club. Hate the whole road biking culture. But love the speed you get on pavement.

Sorry man, that sucks. Now suck it up and move on. Women aren't worth getting all worked up over.

Yeah. I get to do the FSAE thing so I'll forget all about her.

One day I feel I'm ahead of the wheel and the next it's rolling over me. I can get back on...

Max, there a climbing gym near there? Climbing is fun, good exercise, and attracts generally cool, good looking women.

There most likely is but I hate working out indoors. I crave the open air and rolling countryside.

Ak. I don't have time for all this. Gotta finish school first.

On the bright side I got the English final essay done today so I have the weekend to work on the 911 rear suspension model. And study for Monday finals.

It's weird how it feels good to exercise my essay writing skills. It's been so long since I have done any creative writing. The one on The Sorrows of Young Werther and Goethe got an A and I tried to make this one even better. Some wit, good hooks, some quotes, clear and concise conclusion. This was about Achebe's Things Fall Apart I am glad I had a couple choices of prompt that interested me.

I'm glad I don't have to write essays very often though. I'm never going to be an English major. Although there are lots more women in those classes...

Just got back from the Phillip Island Classics.
A three day fest of classic car racing.
Lots of Porsches and some great racing.
Will post some pics at some stage.

That's because women have this horribly false misconception that others want to hear their thoughts and ideas, be it verbally or written...

That is all...
