vas930 04-05-2012 05:00 PM

Nice work, Beth.

She can be very persuasive when she sets her mind to it.

vas930 04-05-2012 05:08 PM

I like the sound of that. ;)

vas930 04-05-2012 05:11 PM

I found some very rare first edition 934 manuals and parts list this week.

Rick V 04-05-2012 05:11 PM

Well that and having a 1,000,000 volt stun gun in her pocket kinda makes her feel ten foot tall and bullet proof

Rick V 04-05-2012 05:13 PM

Okay gonna head on outa here, sparrow fart comes way too early

vas930 04-05-2012 05:15 PM

thanks. it is rather ratty, cosmetically, but mechanically sound. and scary fast. the transaxle is going to explode one of these days (i've been waiting for that for six years) and when it does, LSD baby.

GH85Carrera 04-05-2012 08:08 PM

Sid I brought the helmets home today so I could bring the to breakfast. I was planing ahead.

Good night folks. I need my beauty rest and brain rest for the steering column project tomorrow.

Porsche-poor 04-05-2012 08:16 PM

Mission accomplished. I met Dave. Super nice guy. Got to sit and chat for a few hours. I needed the rest and actually feel a little better.

slodave 04-05-2012 09:06 PM

Dave, nice meeting you as well. :) 2 hrs to get there, less than an hour to get home. Glad you are feeling better, too bad you lost half your vacation staring at a hoterrl ceiling. :D

Porsche-poor 04-05-2012 09:30 PM

Next time I'm bringing a glow in the dark marker. Make it more interesting.

What a whirlwind drive! 2 hours to get to Disneyland, less than an hour to get back, but I did not go straight home, so about 4 hours total in the car today. Traffic absolutely sucked going down there.

The two Dave's.

Looks like fun.
Well done the two Daves.

slodave 04-05-2012 10:04 PM

Overall, it was a good afternoon, Vas. Dave is a great guy. Downtown Disney wasn't bad. I had never been there before, though I didn't walk the whole thing today. Seems like City Walk at Universal Studios. Anaheim is nice. I'm just glad I don't live down there.

Porsche-poor 04-05-2012 10:29 PM

Everyone should have seen the look on Dave's face. He said he'd be easy to spot and was. He looked right at me then turned the other way. So I walked right up to him and said I found you. Instant blank stare of who what then oh its you. I was tempted to stand next to him and text a few times.
